Spark Shark Electric in Moore, Oklahoma installs and upgrades indoor lighting for OKC-metro homeowners. Lighting is the single biggest non-paint change you can make to how a room feels. We install recessed LED cans, under-cabinet, pendants, sconces, accent lighting, and the dimmers that make it all work together, wired correctly so an LED dimmer doesn't buzz, hum, or flicker the lamp it's driving.
What we work on
- Recessed LED can lights: including new installs in finished ceilings (no major drywall damage).
- Under-cabinet lighting: kitchens, bars, work areas. Hardwired with rocker switches or smart dimmers.
- Pendants and chandeliers: including replacement of older fixtures and circuit upgrades for heavier units.
- Dimmers: including 0–10V, ELV, MLV, and smart dimmers compatible with LED loads.
- Accent and toe-kick lighting: built-in wall lighting, stairway runners, picture lighting.
Common questions
Can you add cans without tearing up my ceiling?
In most finished ceilings, yes, we use remodel cans that mount through the drywall opening. Sometimes there's a small access cut needed for a junction box.
Why do my LED lights flicker?
Usually a dimmer mismatch. Older incandescent dimmers don't drive LEDs well. They need a dimmer rated for LED loads. We match the dimmer to the lamp.
Can you do landscape-grade lighting indoors?
Yes. Accent and uplighting indoors uses similar principles. We do those regularly in finished basements and great rooms.
How many cans should I have in a room?
Rough rule: one 4-inch LED can per 12 sq ft of ceiling area for general lighting, more or fewer based on ceiling height and the look you want.
